what does REACH YOUR PEAK mean to me?
| |
To pursue your dreams,to lead
with your heart, to listen to that voice inside yourself that
wants to fly, take a chance, a risk, to dare to be different,
follow your own lead, to help others, to help yourself, to
make a difference in the world. |
Why I climb...
"For me mountain climbing is the struggle of man against
himself. The fight to withstand prolonged exposure to the often-harsh
elements of Mother Nature. The ability to leave behind the creature
comforts of civilization and keep moving even when every cell
in your body screams for you to stop. The opportunity to see
the world in all its glory, just the way god created it. The
understanding to know you can survive, to know what you're capable
of, and to take this journey in concert with others, all facing
the same tests, each there for their own reasons. There has
never been a time in my life, that I have felt more awake or
more alive..."
